Sr Software Engineer

As a Senior Android Engineer at Disney, you'll be part of the team building the Disney+ Android application used by millions worldwide. This role sits within Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology, a global organization that serves as the technological backbone for Disney's media business globally.

You'll be working on building scalable, elegant solutions for the Disney+ Android application across various devices including phones, tablets, and TVs. The role requires deep expertise in the Android ecosystem, including technologies like Kotlin, RxJava2, Coroutines, Dagger2, Gradle, Fragments, and the Android Lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of production experience with Kotlin and Android SDK
• Deep understanding of Android architecture and ecosystem
• Experience with streaming video, codecs, and DRM
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor others
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Base salary range: $138,900 - $203,900 (varies by location)
