Sr UI/UX Developer - TA/Project Hire

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is seeking a Senior UI/UX Developer to help guide the creation, installation, and support for systems in their attractions. The role involves developing and updating UI/UX for next-generation proprietary Disney software packages, creating engaging interfaces, and working closely with internal partners to deliver world-class guest experiences across Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Lines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing mockups and prototypes for site usage and looks
• Creating storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design concepts
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify best solutions
• Documenting development decisions, strategies, workflows, and final designs

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
• 5+ years of experience with Next.JS and React
• Experience with agile software development
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Gitlab, and Confluence
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
