DMV IT Service LLC is seeking an experienced Mulesoft Developer to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement in Bloomington, IL. The role requires a seasoned professional with at least 7 years of experience in MuleSoft integrations and 4 years of hands-on SQL development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, connecting diverse enterprise systems, and ensuring efficient data exchange and process automation.
Key responsibilities include developing MuleSoft APIs, implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing integration workflows, and ensuring high availability and scalability of solutions. Responsibilities For Mulesoft Developer
- Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft APIs and integrations across enterprise applications
- Deploy MuleSoft applications to production environments using CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab
- Write and manage scripts for file handling related to integration workflows
- Implement and support integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow and automation between systems
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues in integration processes
- Apply security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance in all integration work
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Create documentation for integration processes, configurations, and system workflows
- Design fault-tolerant and efficient integration architecture with logging, recovery, and monitoring
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of integration solutions
- Contribute to the evolution of enterprise integration standards and best practices
Requirements For Mulesoft Developer
- At least 7 years of experience working in a mid-to-large scale IT environment with a focus on MuleSoft integrations
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on SQL development experience, including stored procedures, performance tuning, and query optimization
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional), ETL processes, and data warehousing
- Proficiency in developing MuleSoft APIs and deploying applications via automated CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in error handling, failover strategies, job recovery mechanisms, and monitoring/logging for integration flows
- Familiarity with Java or J2EE, and database management using SQL/PLSQL, DB2, JDBC, or similar technologies
- Working knowledge of version control tools and CI/CD tools like GitLab
- Experience with MuleSoft CloudHub SaaS platform is a strong plus
- Industry experience in banking or insurance is preferred
