Description For QA Engineer

Doowii is seeking a QA Engineer to join their mission of democratizing data analytics for educators. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of their web applications that help educators realize the full potential of each student through data-driven insights.

As a QA Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of quality assurance, working with cutting-edge technologies including Playwright for automated testing, React applications, and LLM testing frameworks. The position offers a blend of technical challenges, from developing automated End-to-End tests to managing CI/CD pipelines through Github Actions, while maintaining high quality standards throughout the development process.

Responsibilities For QA Engineer

  • Design, develop, and execute automated End-to-End tests using Playwright in React based applications & Firestore DB environments
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and performance
  • Manage complex Github actions that help automate End-to-End testing
  • Help write testing frameworks & benchmarks for LLM agents
  • Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like Linear
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure features meet acceptance criteria
  • Define and implement best practices in QA processes
  • Be a quality advocate in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle

Requirements For QA Engineer

React
Python
JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience in software QA (manual and/or automated)
  • Experience with Playwright in a React application
  • Knowledge of Github Actions and/or similar CI/CD devops technologies
  • Familiarity with React, HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Experience with Firestore or similar NoSQL DB
  • A detail-oriented mindset and passion for delivering high-quality software
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Backend (Python preferable) experience
