Backend Software Engineer

Doxel AI is revolutionizing the construction industry, the world's second-largest sector, by bringing computer vision and AI to solve the $3T annual waste problem. We're building sophisticated systems that combine classic computer vision, deep learning ML object detection, and low-latency 3D visualization through three.js, all supported by complex data pipelines.

As a Backend Engineer at Doxel, you'll be at the forefront of evolving backend development, working with cutting-edge technologies including WebAssembly and local-first applications. You'll be responsible for processing vast amounts of project data from 360-degree video captures, building and maintaining robust APIs, and collaborating with CV/ML teams on state-of-the-art automation pipelines.

Our software is trusted by major companies including Shell Oil, Genentech, HCA healthcare, and Kaiser. We're in an exciting growth phase, scaling our infrastructure to serve more customers while maintaining high reliability and performance. You'll work on strengthening our data pipeline and API infrastructure, implementing strong design patterns, and ensuring seamless system interactions.
