Description For Jr Project Engineer

E2 Optics, an award-winning Woman-Owned technology integrator based in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Jr Project Engineer for their Eagle Mountain, UT location. This role is perfect for someone with 2-5 years of experience in the low voltage construction industry who is looking to grow in a dynamic environment.

As a Jr Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for assisting the Project Engineer and/or Program Engineering Manager in various aspects of project management. Your primary duties will include project document management, label printing and tracking, and installation of labels as required by projects. You'll work in an agile project environment, prioritizing tasks and working independently as part of a project team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring safety practices are followed
  • Supporting project engineering, quality control, and contract administration
  • Assisting in project closeout operations
  • Coordinating and reviewing technical documents
  • Managing label printing operations and inventory control
  • Collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED (or an applicable Associate Degree), proficiency in BlueBeam and Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of construction technology. Experience with AutoCAD is preferred. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities For Jr Project Engineer

  • Assist Project Engineer and/or Program Engineering Manager

Requirements For Jr Project Engineer

  • High School Diploma or GED or Applicable Associate Degree
  • 2-5 years' work experience in the low voltage construction industry
  • Proficiency in BlueBeam and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of construction technology, equipment and methods
  • Strong organizational, attention to details, time management, record-keeping and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work within deadlines while maintaining high work quality
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
