Responsibilities For Distinguished Engineer, R&D, Advanced Technology

  • Design novel experiments, tests, designs, and platforms for complex problems
  • Provide strategic direction on Manufacturing projects including process design and improvements
  • Serve as SME technical expert in specific technical disciplines
  • Develop new standards for product, process, and equipment design
  • Evaluate external technologies, intellectual properties, and suppliers
  • Participate in engineering advisory board
  • Provide recommendations and gain buy-in from senior management
  • May serve as Independent Reviewer for design review

Requirements For Distinguished Engineer, R&D, Advanced Technology

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field + 12 years experience, OR
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field + 11 years experience, OR
  • Ph.D. or equivalent + 8 years experience
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite and CAD
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Expert knowledge of Engineering principles
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of clean room medical device manufacturing
