Description For Engineer - MES System

Eli Lilly, a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis, is seeking a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer to join their transformative journey in manufacturing operations. With over 45,000 employees worldwide, Lilly is dedicated to discovering and delivering life-changing medicines while maintaining the highest standards of care and innovation.

The role is integral to Lilly's ambitious manufacturing transformation initiative, where the MES system plays a pivotal role. As they expand their manufacturing footprint with state-of-the-art facilities, they're implementing advanced, highly integrated, and automated manufacturing systems with a focus on environmental sustainability.

As an MES System Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the NextGen MES solution, bridging business needs with technology. You'll develop expertise in PharmaSuite, supporting and developing electronic batch records while ensuring compliance with validation requirements. The position requires collaboration with global and site teams to address technical, operational, and business challenges proactively.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background with at least 2 years of MES experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of GMP regulations and Computer System Validation principles is essential. You'll need excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $63,750 to $145,200, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and bonus opportunities. You'll be part of a company that values innovation, caring, and discovery, working to improve lives globally. The position requires occasional travel (10-15%) and may include some off-hours and weekend work.

Join Lilly's inclusive culture where employee resource groups provide strong support networks, and where your contributions can directly impact the delivery of life-changing medicines to patients worldwide. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing company that's investing in cutting-edge manufacturing technology while maintaining its commitment to improving global health outcomes.
