Responsibilities For Azure Lead Platform Engineer
- Lead teams in designing, developing, and maintaining platforms using Azure services
- Design and deploy Windows and Linux servers following infrastructure as code and DevSecOps practices
- Use configuration management tooling to automate deployment and configuration
- Design, deploy and administer Container Orchestration environments
- Design, deploy and maintain Container based solutions
- Lead and mentor other platform engineers
- Measure team performance against industry benchmarks
- Peer review code
- Lead a community of engineers to ensure continuous improvement
Requirements For Azure Lead Platform Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
- Outstanding English communication
- Expert in designing and building secure platforms on Azure
- Expert with Infrastructure as Code tooling
- Expert with Configuration Management tooling
- Expert with Container Orchestration systems
- Expert with Container technologies
- Expert with Build & Release Automation
- Expert with Coding Languages
- Expert in distributed source control solutions
- Expert in building products using enterprise integration patterns
- Must have Azure Solution Architect certification
