Description For Analytics Engineer

The Everybody Votes Campaign, established in 2015, is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their mission of expanding voter registration in communities of color. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, reporting to the Director of Data Products.

The position involves maintaining and enhancing the organization's voter registration data model and transformation processes. Key responsibilities include architecting data models, implementing SQL and DBT transformations, and creating reporting solutions that drive actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience with data modeling, and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities For Analytics Engineer

  • Support architecting and documenting the design of centralized data model
  • Own the transform processes that synthesize raw data into actionable reporting tables using SQL and DBT
  • Integrate internally-generated metadata and external attributes into data pipelines
  • Support with setting best practices for data standardization
  • Maintain a well-documented, consistent codebase
  • Work as a team member through pair-programming, code review, and co-design

Requirements For Analytics Engineer
