Senior Platform Engineer

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Data Protection and Analytics Product Area Team within Enterprise Cyber Security. This role focuses on Data Security Posture Management for critical data assets, working to strengthen the organization's data protection capabilities.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in Systems, DevOps, or Platform Engineering, with strong expertise in cloud services (AWS/Azure) and container platforms. You'll be responsible for delivering modern engineering solutions that enhance data protection while promoting standardization and best practices through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Configuring and maintaining secure container platforms in AWS/Azure
• Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting across infrastructure
• Enforcing security best practices using IAM roles and RBAC
• Managing CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads
• Participating in on-call rotations for operational support

Technical requirements include experience with:

• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Infrastructure as Code tools
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Artifactory/GitHub)
• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Scripting languages (Python, Perl)
