AI/ML Staff Engineer

FIS is seeking a Staff AI/ML Engineer to join their Enterprise Data & AI (EDAI) Team, working on cutting-edge Data, AI, and Machine Learning platforms and models. This role is part of a 250-person strong global team spread across the US, UK, and India, focused on delivering value through data and AI.

The position offers an opportunity to work on a new enterprise Data and AI platform that will become the company's new benchmark for anonymizing and commercializing data. As a technical leader in the AI/ML Tower, you'll be responsible for building AI agents that automate banking processes, creating models for risk management, and establishing best practices for AI lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate should be an innovator in the AI/ML field with deep expertise in mathematics, statistics, and algorithms, plus strong Python programming skills. Experience with Azure Stack and understanding of software architecture principles are essential. The role requires collaboration with diverse teams, especially Product Managers, and involves staying current with the latest industry approaches through research and university partnerships.

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite in one of several locations: Atlanta, New York City, Jacksonville, or Milwaukee.
