Senior Backend Software Engineer

Fiserv, a global leader in Fintech and payments, is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their team in Berkeley Heights, NJ. As a senior engineer, you'll be a critical member of a fast-paced Agile software development team, serving as a hands-on technical leader and go-to person for other engineers. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and various databases, while collaborating with internal clients, Product Management, and Commercialization teams.

The compensation range of $124,300 - $213,100 reflects the senior nature of this position and Fiserv's commitment to attracting top talent. This is a fully on-site role, offering the opportunity to work directly with team members and stakeholders in person.

Key technical requirements include 10+ years of experience with Java backend development, microservices, object-oriented methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and both relational and NoSQL databases. Additional valuable skills include experience with React/Node.js, cloud services, and financial services industry knowledge.
