This role is crucial in maintaining and optimizing their high-volume payment processing system that handles over 350 million transactions daily with 8,000 transactions per second peak throughput. The position involves complex troubleshooting, system optimization, and ensuring platform stability for major U.S. merchants.

As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining mission-critical payment processing infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced online transaction processing environment, balancing platform stability with modern engineering practices. The role combines technical support with development work, requiring expertise in .NET, database administration, and system optimization.

Responsibilities For Senior Technical Support Engineer

  • Provide Level 3 support for online transaction processing application based in .NET
  • Develop scripts, automation tools, and monitoring solutions
  • Investigate critical technical issues and analyze logs
  • Deploy code to production environments
  • Work with developers to identify and resolve application bugs
  • Lead resolution of major incidents
  • Monitor and maintain server and database stability
  • Participate in code reviews and support production

Requirements For Senior Technical Support Engineer

Java
  • 6+ years of experience with C#, .NET or Java
  • 3+ years of experience with RDBMS and database administration
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL Server
  • 3+ years of experience working with RESTful APIs and web services
  • 1+ years of experience with monitoring tools like SPLUNK
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
