Staff Android Software Engineer

As a Staff Android Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing mission-critical applications that merchants rely on daily. You'll be working with a collaborative, fast-moving team on high-impact products that process millions of transactions daily.

The position requires deep expertise in Android development, with a focus on implementing robust software design patterns and application architecture. You'll need strong proficiency in both Java and Kotlin, along with solid database and SQL knowledge. The role involves close collaboration with Product Managers and UX designers to refine features and user flows, as well as partnering with QA teams to ensure product quality.

Key responsibilities include developing native Android applications, participating in design and code reviews, fixing bugs, and building automated testing solutions. You'll also take ownership of complex features from conception to delivery and mentor junior engineers. The role includes on-call rotation to address customer issues when needed.

This is an in-person position available in either Sunnyvale, CA or Berkeley Heights, NJ, offering a competitive salary range of $124,300 - $213,100.
