Senior Data Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Analytics team in a hybrid role based in Oakland, CA. This position represents the future of data engineering, where the focus shifts from routine ELT pipeline maintenance to advancing performance, reliability, and team efficiency.

The role demands a technical leader who will serve as the standard-bearer for data quality and efficiency within our high-performance Analytics team. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including Snowflake, GCP, BigQuery, SQLMesh, dbt, Looker, and Sigma, while using our own Fivetran products. Your responsibilities will span from transformation layer optimization to data observability monitoring, and from implementing department-wide tools to mentoring junior colleagues.

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $159,113 to $198,891 USD, along with comprehensive benefits including 100% employer-paid medical insurance, generous PTO, RSU stock grants, and mental health support.
