Responsibilities For Staff Systems Engineer, Product Architecture

  • Collaborate with systems engineers to define and implement product architecture and systems engineering frameworks
  • Support trade-studies to inform product architecture decisions
  • Develop architecture concepts at system and subsystem levels
  • Establish functional requirements, interface definitions, and controls concept of operations
  • Coordinate with internal teams on failure analysis, verification and validation test plans, certifications, and product deployment processes

Requirements For Staff Systems Engineer, Product Architecture

Python
  • BSc or greater in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar
  • 6+ years industrial experience in systems engineering
  • Deep knowledge of model-based systems engineering practices including SysML frameworks
  • Strong experience with model-based design and systems engineering principles
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools (Jama, Polarion, or similar)
  • Experience with software development, particularly Python
  • Multi-disciplinary engineering competency
  • Technical communication skills, both written and verbal
