Senior Performance Engineer - I

FourKites, the #1 supply chain visibility platform globally, is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to join their team. This role involves tackling complex challenges with real-world impacts, improving the performance and quality of business software, and establishing continuous testing processes. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in performance testing activities and be able to quickly analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve software inefficiencies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating and executing performance testing activities as an SME
• Preparing and executing performance test scripts for various types of testing
• Developing and implementing performance testing strategies
• Analyzing metrics and providing improvement recommendations
• Building and maintaining a Performance Testing Suite

Required skills:

• Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Experience with load testing tools (e.g., Apache JMeter, SiteSpeed, LightHouse)
• Familiarity with APM tools (e.g., NewRelic, Datadog)
• Experience in front-end Web Page loading & rendering performance analysis
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization
• SQL tuning and DB monitoring experience
• Coding experience in Java, Python, or Ruby
