Working in a cross-functional environment, you'll collaborate with Frontend Engineers, Product Designers, and Product Managers to simplify city life. Responsibilities For Backend Engineer
- Own features from ideation to deployment and monitoring
- Design and develop systems based on product requirements or refactorings
- Maintain and improve existing systems
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment
- Stay updated on latest technology trends
- Solve real problems impacting real users
- Review teammates' Pull Requests and provide feedback
- Mentor junior developers
- Participate in high-level technical decisions
Requirements For Backend Engineer
- Passionate about Java or Kotlin
- Familiarity with Spring Boot or similar frameworks
- Experience with automated tests
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with SQL and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Datadog)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Understanding of scalable web applications principles
- Familiar with messaging using RabbitMQ or Kafka
- High level of creativity
- Communicative, proactive, and collaborative
- Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
