Junior Backend Engineer

FREENOW is seeking a Junior Backend Engineer to join their FinTech team, focusing on building systems for seamless, transparent, and secure money flows for mobility customers and providers. The role involves creating a customized, user-friendly payment experience while fostering trust and transparency with partners.

Tech stack includes Java, Kotlin, AWS, Docker, Git, Kafka, and ElasticSearch.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience with Kotlin or Java
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for building scalable web applications
• Familiarity with JVM frameworks like Spring Boot
• Understanding of relational databases
• Knowledge of testing practices
• Financial systems knowledge is a plus
