Software Engineer, AI (Python)

G2i Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer specialized in AI and Python to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on training large language models (LLMs) to write production-grade code across various programming languages. The position involves working with RLHF (Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback) systems, where you'll evaluate, compare, and improve AI-generated code.

As a Software Engineer in the AI team, you'll be responsible for comparing and ranking code snippets, providing detailed explanations for your decisions, and helping refactor AI-generated code for better efficiency and style. Your expertise will directly influence how the AI models learn to write and improve code. The role requires strong Python programming skills and excellent code review abilities, but prior AI or RLHF experience is not necessary.

The position offers flexible working hours (15-40 hours per week) and competitive compensation ranging from $30 to $70 per hour based on location and experience. This is a 1099 contract position that allows you to work from anywhere, making it ideal for those who prefer remote work arrangements.
