TypeScript Software Engineer, AI

G2i Inc. is seeking a TypeScript Software Engineer specializing in AI to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on training large-language models (LLMs) to write production-grade code across various programming languages. The position involves evaluating and ranking code snippets, refactoring AI-generated code, and contributing to the RLHF (Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback) pipeline.

As a Software Engineer in the AI team, you'll play a crucial role in helping the model learn to propose, critique, and improve code through expert feedback. The role requires strong software engineering experience, excellent code review abilities, and superior communication skills to explain code improvement rationales. What makes this position unique is that no prior RLHF or deep machine learning knowledge is required - the focus is on your ability to review and critique code effectively.

The position offers flexible working hours (15-40 hours per week) with compensation up to $30/hour on a 1099 contract basis.
