Software Engineer

GE Vernova is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in database development for their Power Systems Applications team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining their next-generation Market System, a cloud-based solution hosting multi-state wholesale energy markets. The position focuses on advanced software development that helps decarbonize power systems while ensuring reliability for increasing Solar, Wind, and Storage technologies integration.

The ideal candidate will join the Software Center of Excellence, working on enterprise-level Oracle database development and implementation. You'll be responsible for developing software solutions that meet corporate project and product objectives, particularly in MMS Application software design, development, testing, integration, and tuning.
