Sr. Electricity Market Optimization Software Engineer

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Electricity Market Optimization Software Engineer to join their team developing and maintaining their Electricity Market Management System (MMS). This role combines software engineering expertise with power systems knowledge, working in a team of 8-15 professionals including power systems, database, software, and optimization engineers.

The position offers an opportunity to work on critical infrastructure that serves Electric Utilities, Independent System Operators (ISOs), and Transmission System Operators (TSOs). You'll be responsible for developing advanced Power Systems Application software, leading technical initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements.

This is an ideal role for someone with a strong background in both software engineering and power systems, particularly those with experience in electricity markets and Mixed Integer Programming (MIP). The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $106,400 to $133,000 annually, plus a 15% variable incentive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and professional development opportunities.
