The position offers an opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects for Electric Utilities, Independent System Operators (ISOs), and Transmission System Operators (TSOs). You'll be responsible for developing advanced Power Systems Application software, leading technical initiatives, and ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements.
The role requires a strong background in both software engineering and power systems, with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and minimum 4 years of experience in Electricity Markets. You'll apply your expertise in Mixed Integer Programming (MIP), Security Constrained Unit Commitment, and Economic Dispatch while leading software development efforts in an agile environment.
The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $106,400 to $133,000 annually, plus a 15% variable incentive.
