Sr. Electricity Market Optimization Software Engineer

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Electricity Market Optimization Software Engineer to join their innovative team working on advanced power systems solutions. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of 8-15 professionals, including power systems, database, software, and optimization engineers, focusing on enhancing and supporting large-scale Electricity Market Management Systems (MMS).

The position offers a competitive base salary range of $106,400 - $133,000 USD annually, plus a 15% variable incentive compensation, along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities. The role demands expertise in Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP), electricity markets, and modern software development practices, including agile methodologies and DevOps principles.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field, with at least four years of relevant experience.
