Description For Appian Developer

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an experienced Appian Developer to support the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in their critical mission. Responsibilities For Appian Developer

  • Design and develop fully automated software delivery pipelines
  • Collaborate within and across agile teams
  • Develop technical documentation and architecture diagrams
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, demos and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements
  • Develop custom Appian solutions using Appian BPM software
  • Integrate Appian applications with other systems and databases
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshoot Appian applications
  • Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements For Appian Developer

Java
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of Appian development experience, preferably within BPM
  • Appian Level 1 or 2 Certified
  • Experience in Agile, Java, API's, Web Services, integrations
  • Proficient with Appian BPM and complex SQL database structures
  • Experience owning project backlog and ensuring project team delivers quality work
  • Experience with integrations with external systems
  • Ability to scope Appian Projects
