Description For Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack Web Development

General Motors is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Brands & Marketing Software Engineering Team within the Digital Products Engineering (DPE) organization. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX, requiring in-office presence three times per week.

The role involves working with a team that collaborates closely with marketing leaders across GM to build scalable tooling for creating engaging customer experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading engineering efforts through planning, design, architecture, and execution while mentoring less experienced engineers.

The position requires expertise in both frontend and backend development, with a focus on web technologies including HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Java, and Python. The engineer will work with modern technologies including Kubernetes, Azure cloud services, and edge computing platforms like Akamai.
