Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce

General Motors is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Salesforce development to join their Digital Products Engineering (DPE) Commerce team. This role is integral to enhancing and building market-leading technology products on the Force.com platform. The position offers a competitive salary range of $93,400 - $149,600 and comprehensive benefits package.

The role is part of DPE Commerce, which enables commerce between General Motors, GM Dealers, and Consumers, focusing on every phase of commerce from online vehicle shopping to service scheduling. As a senior engineer, you'll be responsible for customizing and developing solutions on the Salesforce platform, working with technologies like Apex, Lightning Components, JavaScript, and various Salesforce tools.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software development experience, particularly with Force.com platform, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design patterns, Salesforce architecture, and database concepts is essential. The role requires Salesforce Administrator certification, with additional certifications being a plus.

This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence at least three times per week at one of several locations: Warren, Michigan (GM Global Technical Center), Austin IT Innovation Center North, or Mountain View, California.
