General Motors is seeking a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to join their Quality Issue and Incident Management team. This role is critical in developing software applications that support issue and incident management processes throughout the product development lifecycle. The position offers a unique blend of technical leadership and hands-on development, requiring expertise in enterprise-grade application development using modern technologies like Kubernetes, Java, Angular, and PostgreSQL.

The role demands a seasoned professional who can not only write high-quality code but also mentor junior engineers and lead technical transitions to cloud technologies. You'll be working in a hybrid environment, required to be present in the office three times per week at either Austin, TX; Warren, MI; or Roswell, GA locations.

As a Staff Engineer, you'll be responsible for complex data requirements and providing solutions using industry-standard methodologies. The position involves significant work with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and requires expertise in automating cloud infrastructure and optimizing costs. You'll be working on transforming complex data and business logic into actionable insights while ensuring compliance with GM's corporate standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of full-stack development experience, with strong expertise in Java/JEE and Angular, plus significant experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies. You should be comfortable with complex SQL queries and have experience with big data technologies.   • Develop enterprise-grade applications using Kubernetes/Docker, Quarkus, Java, Angular, and PostgreSQL
