Senior Software Engineer, Web

GlossGenius is building an ecosystem enabling entrepreneurs to succeed by offering a range of business management tools including booking, scheduling, marketing, analytics, and payment processing. As a Senior Software Engineer at GlossGenius, you'll own large features or projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and potentially lead a smaller pod of engineers. You'll develop intuitive web applications using React and may contribute cross-platform with React Native.

Our platform empowers over 75,000 small business owners to run their entire set of business operations. We're expanding our web experiences rapidly, from enabling calendar views and appointment management to creating seamless integrations with our Card Reader & Point of Sales systems.

You'll own projects end-to-end, collaborate on roadmap initiatives, produce high-quality code, architect scalable systems, and uphold best practices. We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in software engineering, experience with React or relevant web technologies, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Our tech stack includes:

• Web: Typescript / Javascript (React, Redux)
• Mobile: React Native
• Backend: Ruby (Rails, Sidekiq), Kotlin (micronaut, jooq), GRPC, Protobuf, and Postgres
