Responsibilities For Senior Quality Engineer, Payments
- Define, document, and execute comprehensive test strategies
- Act as embedded quality owner for cross-functional product teams
- Author and maintain automated tests for APIs, web applications, and services
- Perform manual component-level testing, integration testing, and exploratory testing
- Develop and maintain API test suites
- Collaborate with software engineers on testing best practices
- Coach and mentor software engineers in test authoring
- Execute end-to-end, cross-team testing initiatives
- Implement and improve quality metrics measurement
- Develop and execute test plans, cases, and reports
- Analyze defect trends and conduct root cause analysis
Requirements For Senior Quality Engineer, Payments
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or SDET in agile software development teams
- Strong experience defining and executing test strategies
- Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit)
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools
