As an AI Code Assist Specialist, you'll serve as a subject matter expert in Gemini Code Assist, working with technical business teams to demonstrate its capabilities, facilitate deployment, and build use cases for AI-assisted software development. Your responsibilities include helping customers with legacy code migration, version migration, and optimizing their software development lifecycle with AI tools.
The role requires deep technical knowledge spanning multiple programming languages (Python, Java, GoLang, JavaScript, TypeScript) and frameworks, along with experience in cloud native development and container technologies. Responsibilities For AI Code Assist Specialist, Partner Engineering
- Work with teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop strategy to resolve technical blockers
- Provide expertise on GCA and build technical relationships with Google's strategic partners
- Specialize in Gemini Code Assist (GCA), focusing on integrating GCA capabilities within existing cloud services
- Travel to partner/customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed
Requirements For AI Code Assist Specialist, Partner Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of experience in modernizing legacy applications and applying cloud native development methodologies and tools, including container technology
- Experience with software development, code technology migrations programs, code version migrations
- Experience with frameworks such as springboot, Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks
- Experience in one or more languages/frameworks: Python, Java, GoLang, JavaScript, Typescript, PyTorch, and Jupyter/Colab notebooks
