Cloud Architect, SAP

As a Cloud Architect at Google, you will work directly with Google's most strategic customers on critical projects to provide management, consulting, and technical advisory services for customer engagements. You'll collaborate with client executives and key technical leaders to deploy solutions on Google's Cloud Platform. Your responsibilities include working with Google's partners servicing customer accounts to manage projects, deliver consulting services, and provide technical guidance and best practice expertise.

The role requires navigating ambiguity, extensive experience with cloud technologies, technical depth, and the ability to work with client executives. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential. You'll be expected to travel approximately 25% of the time for client engagements.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing and delivering successful implementations of cloud solutions
2. Becoming a trusted advisor to decision-makers throughout engagements
3. Packaging best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership and methodologies
4. Managing project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines
5. Advocating for customer needs and driving new feature development
6. Proposing architectures for SAP products and managing the deployment of cloud-based SAP solutions
