Cloud Engineer, Application Modernization, Global Service Delivery

Google Cloud is seeking a Cloud Engineer specializing in Application Modernization to join their Professional Services team. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing consulting to help Google's strategic customers modernize and transform their applications using Google Cloud Platform.

The position involves working directly with customers to guide them through critical application development and modernization projects. You'll collaborate with client executives and technical leaders to drive adoption of modern applications and cloud native products. Key responsibilities include architecting solutions, managing deployments, and providing expertise on application re-design, containerization, scaling, and reliability.

As a trusted advisor, you'll leverage your experience with cloud technologies, containers (especially Kubernetes/GKE), and modern application development practices.
