Cloud Engineer Associate, Application Modernization

Google Cloud is seeking a Cloud Engineer Associate for Application Modernization to join their Professional Services team. In this role, you will work with customers to transform existing enterprise applications into modern, cloud-native applications, reducing time to launch, increasing release frequency, and improving reliability. You'll propose and execute approaches to modernize applications and deploy them to Google Cloud Platform, including code development. Your responsibilities will include application re-design, implementation, scaling, and reliability improvements. You'll also advise on ongoing operations such as application and feature rollouts, monitoring, and more. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, customer-facing skills, and the ability to drive excellence in Google Cloud products. You'll support customer adoption through architecture guidance, best practices, application migration, implementation, troubleshooting, and monitoring. The ideal candidate should have experience in cloud technologies, software development, and enterprise application portfolios. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this customer-facing role.
