Description For Cloud Software Engineer

Google Cloud is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to join their team in Tel Aviv. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technology and GenAI features at one of the world's leading tech companies. The position involves leading architectural decisions, developing new features, and shaping the technical direction of cloud products.

As a Cloud Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of Google Cloud's mission to accelerate digital transformation for organizations worldwide. You'll work with distributed systems and cloud computing technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Managers and UX designers. The role requires strong technical expertise in software development and distributed computing, with opportunities to work on large-scale systems.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of software development experience and strong knowledge of data structures/algorithms. Responsibilities For Cloud Software Engineer

  • Lead the architecting, designing, developing, testing new features, as well as maintaining and improving the product
  • Lead and develop features based on GenAI technology
  • Contribute to the research, coding and testing efforts
  • Help set the agenda for the product roadmap and technical direction
  • Collaborate with teammates and across job functions (e.g., Product Managers, UX) as well as working with different teams developing other Migration Center components and services

Requirements For Cloud Software Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms
  • Experience with distributed computing, big data analytics, cloud computing, multi-tenant cloud, or AI
