Description For Cloud Software Engineer

Google Cloud is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join their team in Tel Aviv. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud computing and artificial intelligence technologies. As a Cloud Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting, designing, and developing features for Google Cloud's enterprise-grade solutions, with a particular focus on GenAI technology.

The position requires a strong background in software development, distributed computing, and cloud technologies. You'll play a crucial role in shaping both the technical direction and product roadmap, while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Managers and UX designers. Responsibilities For Cloud Software Engineer

  • Lead the architecting, designing, developing, testing new features, as well as maintaining and improving the product
  • Lead and develop features based on GenAI technology
  • Contribute to the research, coding and testing efforts
  • Help set the agenda for the product roadmap and technical direction
  • Collaborate with teammates and across job functions (e.g., Product Managers, UX) as well as working with different teams developing other Migration Center components and services

Requirements For Cloud Software Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms
  • Experience with distributed computing, big data analytics, cloud computing, multi-tenant cloud, or AI
