Description For Consumer Desktop Product Manager, Chrome Browser

Google is seeking a Consumer Desktop Product Manager for Chrome Browser. This role is crucial in guiding products from conception to launch by connecting technical and business worlds. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to break down complex problems and drive product development.

Chrome is dedicated to building a better, more open web, focusing on creating a superior browser experience across all major platforms. As a Product Manager, you'll be responsible for defining the roadmap for strategic initiatives on desktop, writing product requirement documents, taking new functionality to market, and analyzing research and experiment results to refine features.

Key responsibilities include:

  2. Writing product requirement documents and collaborating with cross-functional partners.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role

Responsibilities For Consumer Desktop Product Manager, Chrome Browser

  • Define roadmap for strategic initiatives on desktop, and securing leadership plans

Requirements For Consumer Desktop Product Manager, Chrome Browser

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Experience building consumer-facing software, for productivity and a track record of delivering features
  • Experience working with a design team, especially from a framework or design-systems perspective
  • Experience working across time zones with a distributed team and generating multiple projects
  • Expertise in working with data and basic data analysis
