Google Public Sector is seeking a Customer Engineer III to accelerate AI initiatives for public sector clients. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen, focusing on helping government and educational institutions leverage Google Cloud's AI infrastructure. The position requires deep knowledge of machine learning frameworks, AI accelerators, and cloud architecture.

As a Customer Engineer III, you'll work directly with customers' ML research teams to optimize their AI workloads using Google's Hypercomputer technologies. You'll provide technical guidance on solution design, accelerator selection, and implementation strategies. The role demands both technical depth in AI/ML technologies and the ability to engage effectively with executive stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of cloud native architecture experience, strong expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, JAX), and familiarity with AI accelerators (TPUs, GPUs). You'll need to maintain an active TS Clearance with Polygraph and be willing to travel up to 40% of the time.

This position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $147,000-$218,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
