Responsibilities For Customer Engineer, Small and Medium Businesses, Google Cloud
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers
- Work directly with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments
- Guide customers through assessments of existing legacy application environments and provide recommendations on prioritization roadmap
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure for Google Cloud solutions
Requirements For Customer Engineer, Small and Medium Businesses, Google Cloud
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 1 year of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or in a customer-facing role
- Experience with cloud infrastructure engineering, on-premise infrastructure engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms
- Experience in one programming language and in one or more technical areas (preferred)
- Experience with cloud architecture and one or more cloud providers (preferred)
- Understanding of common systems management concepts (preferred)
