Description For Data Center Electrical Engineer

Google is seeking a Data Center Electrical Engineer to join their Technical Infrastructure team. This role is crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining Google's data centers, ensuring they run efficiently and reliably. Responsibilities For Data Center Electrical Engineer

  • Work across teams to define and develop data center operational processes, and validate conceptual design and programming requirements from problems
  • Lead the validation of new designs, materials, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities at the project level
  • Produce defined analysis that ensures designs or installations satisfy requirements
  • Deliver components within multi-system projects, from project inception to final commissioning
  • Define and develop operating and maintenance procedures for systems owned in conjunction with data center operations

Requirements For Data Center Electrical Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments
  • Experience in mission critical facilities and their electrical infrastructure
