Data Engineer, Platforms and Devices

Google's Platforms and Devices (P&D) team is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Insights and Analytics group. This role is crucial in supporting Google's mission to organize world's information through data-driven decision making. The position involves working with distributed data processing, machine learning, and software development to build and maintain data infrastructure for products like Android, ChromeOS, Pixel phones, and smart home devices.

The role requires strong technical expertise in data pipeline design, dimensional data modeling, and programming, with 5 years of experience in these areas. You'll work with both internal tools like Flume and external stacks such as DataFlow and Spark.
