Database Customer Engineer, Google Cloud

Google Cloud Platform is seeking a Database Customer Engineer to join their team as a technical expert in database technologies. This role combines deep technical knowledge with customer-facing responsibilities, helping organizations leverage Google's database solutions for their digital transformation journey.

As a Database Practice Specialist, you'll serve as a subject matter expert on Google's database portfolio, working directly with customers to design and optimize their data management environments. You'll be instrumental in conducting technical assessments, leading discovery workshops, and providing strategic guidance on database selection and implementation.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in enterprise software or cloud computing, with extensive knowledge of both relational and NoSQL database technologies. You'll need to demonstrate proficiency in various database systems like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and modern solutions like MongoDB and Redis.
