Google's Trust & Safety team is seeking an Engineering Analyst to join their Messages Spam and Abuse team. This role combines technical expertise in data analysis with security and anti-abuse work to protect Google's users and infrastructure. The position involves working globally with Engineers and Product Managers to combat online safety challenges, fraud, and abuse across Google's messaging products.
The role requires strong analytical skills, with a focus on identifying trends and developing solutions for scaled enforcement. You'll be responsible for building and monitoring dashboards, conducting data analysis, and developing anti-abuse protections using both machine learning models and heuristic rules.
