Google's Trust & Safety team is seeking an Engineering Analyst to join their efforts in protecting users and partners across Google products. This role focuses on identifying and combating abuse, fraud, and safety challenges across Google Photos and Google One products. As an Engineering Analyst in the Trust & Safety team, you'll work at the intersection of technical analysis and user protection, leveraging data-driven insights to combat various forms of abuse including malware, phishing, and harmful content. You'll collaborate with multiple teams across Google, including User Protections, Trust and Safety for Workspace and YouTube, GAIA Account, and User Security Screening.
The role requires strong analytical capabilities, programming skills in languages like Python and SQL, and the ability to work with large datasets to identify trends and develop solutions. You'll be responsible for implementing and monitoring abuse metrics, leading mitigation efforts, and working with engineering teams to develop advanced ML algorithms for protection systems.
