- Design, guide and vet systems designs within the scope of the broader area
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
Requirements For Engineering Manager, Data Lineage, BigQuery Experience
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
- 2 years of experience in people management, supervision/team leadership role
- Experience designing and implementing distributed systems
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred)
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization (preferred)
- Experience working with an enterprise-focused software ecosystem (preferred)
- Experience productionizing a service and being on call (preferred)
- Experience working collaboratively with various partner teams (preferred)
