Epitaxy Process Engineer, Augmented Reality

As an Epitaxy Process Engineer, you'll be joining a team that develops custom silicon solutions for Google's direct-to-consumer products. The role involves driving epitaxial growth processes for micro LED technology at scale, ensuring smooth process operations and manufacturing methodology.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $147,000-$216,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Based in Fremont, CA, you'll work in a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab with start-up roots. The role requires extensive collaboration with epitaxial engineering and operations teams, combined with strong problem-solving abilities and data analysis skills.

Key responsibilities include developing and improving novel epitaxy processes from concept to volume manufacturing, working with the Epitaxial Engineering team on process stability and control, analyzing experimental and production datasets, and managing in-line metrology tools and measurements.

The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in epitaxial growth engineering, with a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, experience in process development, material characterization, and understanding of MOCVD.
