Firmware Engineer, Power Optimization, Pixel

As a Firmware Engineer in Power Optimization for Pixel, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions and tools for power management integrated circuit (PMIC), ensuring optimal power efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug and resolve power-related issues in PMICs, analyzing root causes and implementing solutions.
• Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive test suites designed to detect and prevent power regressions, ensuring stability and reliability across different operating conditions.
• Provide technical support for software solutions, addressing user inquiries, and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, with 2 years of experience in coding with a general-purpose programming language in C/C++. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, 1 year of experience working with embedded operating systems, experience developing accessible technologies, and experience with power management of embedded mobile devices.
