Group Product Manager, Databases, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is seeking a Group Product Manager for Databases to lead the development of next-generation developer experiences. This role involves defining goals and strategies, recognizing differentiated opportunities, engaging with customers and industry partners, delivering innovative features, and implementing data-driven frameworks to improve developer experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, cloud technologies, and database management. They will work cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, business finance, and other stakeholders to guide products from conception to launch.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining strategy for next-generation developer experiences
• Developing differentiated opportunities to drive business outcomes
• Engaging with customers and industry partners
• Delivering innovative features for novel use cases
• Implementing data-driven frameworks to improve developer experiences

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role
• 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
• Experience in developing or launching products within databases, analytics, big data, or related areas
• Experience in Product Management, Cloud, Developer Tools, and Database Management

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in a Technology or Business related field
• 7 years of cross-functional experience
• 7 years of experience in business functions
• 5 years of experience in technical presentations to executive leadership
• 5 years of software development or engineering experience
